Updated LTC HCS and TxHmL Waiver Programs Provider User Guide Now Available

Last updated on

The Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership (TMHP) has updated the Long-Term Care (LTC) Home and Community-based Services (HCS) and Texas Home Living (TxHmL) Waiver Programs Provider User Guide.

“Appendix B: Assessment and Form Statuses” has been updated to include actions that providers and local intellectual and developmental disability authorities (LIDDAs) may need to complete for certain statuses to continue the workflow of assessments and forms. Statuses that may require further action are now linked throughout the user guide. Users can click the linked statuses to view more information on the status and any action that may need to be completed.

Providers and LIDDAs can access the updated user guide on TMHP’s 1915(c) Waiver Programs Reference Material web page in the User Guides section by clicking on the LTC Online Portal User Guides for HCS and TxHmL Waiver Programs link or through TMHP’s Learning Management System (LMS) as follows:

  1. Go to the LMS home page.
  2. Log into an existing account or sign up to create a new account.
  3. Select the appropriate button to view the user guide in a web browser or to download the file for offline use. The user guide is in Portable Document Format (PDF).

New LMS visitors can access materials and take courses immediately after they register. Providers and LIDDAs can always access computer-based training and additional training materials on the LMS.
